Asya Vinokur
Hi there!
My name is Asya Vinokur and I am a former elite level competitive national gymnast who has won numerous medals and titles throughout the tri-state area of New York and surrounding states. I am proud to say that I have taken home titles such as N.Y. State champion, Regional champion, and consistently stayed in the top 3 rankings for years.
I have also qualified for Eastern/Western Opens and National Championships, ranking in the top 15 nationwide, which earned me elite level status. Additionally, I have competed in invitational competitions nationwide during my 12-year career as a professional rhythmic gymnast.
I was born in Belarus and came to the United States with my family at the age of 4. Growing up, I was born into a family of national team athletes, with my mother Valentina being a master of sport in equestrian riding and my father Dmitry being a master of sport for wrestling. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where I started practicing rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 6 and quickly progressed and excelled at the sport.
